If you're a gamer looking to indulge in an hours-long gaming session, you're going to need some comfortable furniture, and this collaboration between a giant home furnishing brand and a gaming brand might just be what they're looking for. Swedish furniture brand IKEA and gaming company XBOX recently launched the YSXTABY collection, which features nine pieces that range from a gaming chair, a TV stand, and a cushion shaped like the XBOX's ionic D-pad. “This collection combines the strengths of home furnishing expertise and gaming knowledge. Ikea already offers gaming furniture for the individual gamers. But this collection focuses on gaming, playing, and living in any part of your home, together with your friends and family,” said IKEA Philippines sales leader, May Castillo. Attendees at the launch, which included Bimby Aquino, were treated not only to booths showcasing pieces from the collection, but also to cosplayers and a mini game that involved them assembling IKEA furniture.
